About Bev

Bev Haskins is a teacher and healer. For 35 years Bev used her talents and abilities to build a successful career in elementary education. She taught for 20 year in a small, rural alternative school setting where she learned to teach holistically, including creative and global awareness in all aspects of learning. Before her retirement Bev also worked as an Arts consultant and a principal.

Throughout her adult life Bev has been on a journey to discover her own creative expression of her spirituality. She has studied a wide variety of holistic, esoteric and metaphysical topics as well as doing hands-on practical self/spiritual development and healing techniques.
Bev’s love of and work with storytelling and archetypal images and symbols brought her to the Tarot- a visual tool that helps Bev access her inner intuitive/psychic energies.

Through the Tarot and other modalities such as Reiki, Bev has been providing food for thought, insight and healing to friends and clients for over 25 years.

Bev has now embarked upon another teaching journey with the opening of her centre Bev’s Lakeside Retreats. Here she facilitates an eclectic array of courses and workshops and provides opportunity and space for other presenters to share their expertise.

Teaching to Bev is about being a vehicle for you on your journey to knowing who you really are and how to achieve your highest and best every day.

Bev also loves to spend time with her family, especially her three wonderful grandchildren. She is a trustee on the local library board and the artistic director of a local fund- raising historic drama project.
